Week 6 in Fortnite Season 7 has arrived, and a new challenge this week asks you to place prepper supplies in Hayseed’s Farm. This is another of the season’s story-driven Quests, of which there have been several each week, signaling a change within Epic Games to put the team’s expansive universe front and center for the Invasion season. Here’s where–and why–to place prepper supplies in this Fortnite Week 6 Legendary Quest. The challenge is live as of July 14.

Where To Place Fortnite Prepper Supplies

There are multiple places you can visit to place prepper supplies, but they’re all within the relatively small confines of Hayseed’s Farm, known in the past (and future?) as Steel’s Farm. Hayseed is Farmer Steel’s cousin and has been minding his abundant corn crops while Farmer Steel has been MIA–apparently having gone underground to wait out the alien-IO scuffle.

In the meantime, you’ll be leaving Farmer Steel some more prepper supplies for him to take underground to his bunker we first learned about (but have not yet seen) in Week 5. You need only to place one prepper supply according to the Quest’s lan…

In Grounded, the Insect Hammer opens up a host of new items available to you that are critical if you’re looking to finish the game. Without this hammer, you’ll be unable to break down rock masses that grant you upgrade ingredients for any of your weapons and tools, among other things such as Candy Corn, Salt Clusters, and Ice Cap Mints. The starter Pebblet Hammer just can’t provide the same smashing power to bust through these tougher objects. Here’s how to get the Insect Hammer in Grounded.

How to get the Grounded Insect Hammer

Like other items, you’ll first need to unlock the recipe for the Insect Hammer, which you can do in one of two ways: Either analyze all of its crafting ingredients at a Field Station, or by leveling up to Brainpower 6 where it auto-unlocks the recipe. The recipe for the Insect Hammer includes:

  • 4 Stinkbug Parts
  • 4 Berry Leather
  • 1 Boiling Gland

Like the Insect Axe, none of these items are cut off from you as soon as you start the game, so the major consideration is simply how combat-ready you feel. If you play in co-op and wear armor, your odds of survival will drastically increase. Next, we’ll go over w…

Fortnite’s latest Snapshot Quests, also known as story challenges, are live in the game, and a few of them are trickier than you may be used to as of late. If you need to know where to find the location referred to when Cerberus says he left a chew toy “under the windmill with a view of the Styx,” we have your solution here.

Under the windmill with a view of the Styx in Fortnite

Each of these Cerberus chew toys you’ll be finding for this week’s snapshots require you to head to landmarks across the island, then dig up the toy. The nice thing to note is that once you get to the right spot, you’ll receive a marker for where to dig, so you won’t have to guess so long as you’ve arrived in the correct location.

For this one, you’ll want to head to the red windmill northeast of Grim Gate–hence how it overlooks to river Styx, known in Greek mythology to be the entryway to the underworld, Hades. We’ve marked it on the map below, so you don’t get it confused with The Other Windmill–and yes, that’s the actual landmark name of the island’s identical windmill more to the south.

Once you arrive, hit the marker with your pickaxe to dig up the “chew …

With the recent casting news for HBO Max’s Gremlins: Secrets Of The Mogwai, more details about the upcoming animated show have been revealed–including the fact it’s already been renewed for a second season. This news also includes adding a new rule to the creature’s lore, which we will learn about when the series airs.

During the WarnerMedia Kids & Family upfronts president of WarnerMedia global kids, young adults and classics division Tom Ascheim announced that the upcoming Gizmo origin series will be getting a second season, even before the first season airs. Specific release dates for either season were not revealed.

Additionally, the lore of the Mogwai will be expanded upon during Season 1. Everyone knows the three rules for Mogwai: don’t expose them to bright light, don’t get them wet, and don’t feed them after midnight. However, during the WarnerMedia Kids & Family upfronts, showrunner Tze Chun explained that they will be expanding on this mythology to add a fourth rule for the mysterious creatures. Sadly, we won’t learn what this rule is until the show debuts on the stream…
